Get Out! Nature Walk

Join Us on July 19th for a Get Out! Nature Walk - a volunteer led guided nature walk adventure at Bennett's Cove on Chebeague Island to discover and explore Tidepooling.

* Please note the time and that this event takes place on the 3rd Wednesday in the month.

Please RSVP to asherman.penny@gmail.com for the July 19th Chebeague Island event so we know how many to expect. *Please indicate if you are coming on the ferry so that we can arrange for transportation. (Include the name of all attendees, email address, phone/text, and if you are coming on the ferry).

Ferry Information:  Purchase day passes for Chebeague Transportation Company ferry and parking tickets for Chebeague Island Parking Lot on Route 1 at Chebeague Transportation Company Website

The shuttle bus leaves the parking lot PROMPTLY at 11:45, so we suggest you get there by 11:30. The ferry departs Cousins Island at 12:15. The return ferry leaves Chebeague at 3:45. Plan to pack a snack or enjoy a glass of lemonade on the porch of the Chebeague Island Inn while you wait for the return ferry!

Get Out! Nature Walks

These free guided trips are led by trained master naturalists and skilled volunteers. They occur on the fourth Wednesday of the month (unless indicated otherwise), rain, snow, or shine. Jointly offered by both CCLT and the Royal River Conservation Trust, the walks take place at preserves in the towns of Chebeague Island, Cumberland, Yarmouth, North Yarmouth, Pownal, New Gloucester, Durham, and anywhere else we decide to roam.
